Easi-Set® Industries Signs a New J-J Hooks® license in Texas
MIDLAND, VA.- Easi-Set® Industries, an International licensing company, announces the addition of a new licensee in Texas to begin producing Easi-Set’s® J-J Hooks® Highway Traffic Safety Barrier.
Tricon Precast, Ltd, Houston, TX, is located on 50 acres of land and has over 8,000 pieces of precast in inventory. Tricon is heavily involved in roadway-precast products such as precast barrier, sound wall, retaining walls, bridge wing walls and bridge parapet structures.
The J-J Hooks® barrier connection system has been crash tested to National Cooperative Highway Research Program 350 standards. Self-aligning, identical ended J-J hook connectors allow for quick, easy installation of the barrier. There is no loose hardware, permitting a single section to be easily removed without disturbing adjacent sections and eliminating the possibility of lost, stolen or damaged parts. This is important for easy emergency access and protection against tampering and vandalism. J-J Hooks® can be used as a temporary or permanent barrier system.
Tricon’s President, Mike Ogorchock, said the Texas DOT Houston district wanted a precast barrier that did not have loose hardware and had been crash tested under the NCHRP-350 standard. The J-J Hooks® highway safety barrier system was Houston DOT’s choice.
